Late into the campaign, the Opposition are now finally showing signs of coalescing into a “united front [versus] a Marcos restoration and a Duterte extension”.
Senatorial bet Neri Colmenares is endorsing VP Leni Robredo for president.

It is evidently a desperate and pained move on the part of both parties considering the vitriol exchanged between the Yellowtards and the communists just weeks ago. More importantly, the words used in the announcements and press releases surrounding these developments provide further evidence that there really is not much underlying the Opposition pitch to Filipino voters beyond being no more than “anti-Marcos” and “anti-Duterte” shills.
