Communists threatening to step up armed insurgency

Inquirer columnist Ma. Ceres P. Doyo issues this veiled threat in her piece today “Marcos win will fuel the armed insurgency”. Doyo, first off, insults Filipinos who support the candidacy of presidential bet Bongbong Marcos writing that “a common belief among those who are rooting for Marcos Jr. is that they would get a share of the fabled gold bars, dollars, and whatever else kept by the Marcoses.” She calls Marcos supporters “gullible folk” who have latched on to “pure fantasy”. The payload of her piece, however, is her chilling fearless — possibly seditious — forecast: “A Marcos win will fuel the armed insurgency. 1980s redux, a déjà vu.”
