It is obvious that supporters of Leni Robredo had intended her run for the presidency to be boosted not by any ordinary campaign. Their aim was to start a movement. For the Yellowtards, an election is not just a time to change presidents as a matter of routine (as one would expect of a country that had been an independent “democracy” since 1946). For them an election is a “revolution” whenever they find themselves on the opposition side of the equation.
