Administration candidate Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte continue to attract the lion’s share of voters’ preferences by huge margins according to the most recently Pulse Asia Survey report released yesterday. Marcos and Duterte topped the list respectively gaining the preference of 60 and 53 percent of survey respondents. Trailing them are Opposition presidential candidate Leni Robredo and vice presidential candidate Tito Sotto who took 15 and 24 percent respectively. Opposition camps led by supporters of Robredo greeted the numbers with dismay as this follows a spate of “grand rally” circuses that supposedly attracted tens of thousands of participants. As expected many were quick to dismiss the reports as “fake” or “weaponised” products of “sinister” forces to deprive them of a win in May they feel entitled to.
