One camp stands for strong nation, the other espouses a “motherly” approach to leading the Filipino people. Which style of leadership do Filipinos really need? One spent big bucks on infrastructure, the other calls for dole-outs to “help the poor” and cites “to protect” and “to create jobs” as her Number One and Two “priorities” respectively. Do Filipinos want to be marched to prosperity or assured of their blessedness as “victims”? We are about to find out.
