What battles to fight amongst competing pitches and ideas on social media
Philippine politics have gone digital thanks to almost two years of reduced mobility and physical social interaction. As such, social media have become even noisier forums specially now as the campaign in the lead up to May 2022 ramps up. Every camp claims theirs is “the winner”. Even us writers here at GRP have our preferred candidates and/or partisan blocs and that preference is mirrored in our respective works. Thus, to succeed in this game, self-awareness is important to ensure one objectively evaluates what works and what doesn’t.
