Who needs a “senatorial slate” when you are a hands-down winnable presidentiable?

One wonders why presidential candidates even bother with a Senate slate. This, in fact, is the whole problem that is dogging many Opposition camps. Indeed, in the case of “vice president” Leni Robredo’s #KakamPink machine, it was her choice of senatoriables that had further deepened and widened the rifts that now render the Opposition utterly incapable of the “unity” they desperately need.
