Will Sara Duterte be running for president? The probability that she would just went up when she signed up with former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s Lakas-CMD party and abandoning Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) the support of which she earlier threw behind presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos. With “Daughterte” in the presidential race and with Marcos vowing yesterday to continue his presidential run, the admin vote is effectively split with Daughterte at an advantage given that she had consistently topped Marcos in preference polls over the last year or two.
