Over the last 24 hours, astute observers of political chatter have highlighted an important thing to take note of: The Marcos family defines Opposition rhetoric. Without their favourite manufactured bogeyman — the late former President Ferdinand Marcos, and his long bygone “Martial Law Regime” — the Opposition would have no ideology. They’d essentially be nothing. Compare that to the campaign collateral of so-called “administration” candidates and one will find the latter able to stand on its own legs, independent and forward-looking.
