The Opposition have recently come back to an old traditional ally and kingmaker in Philippine politics — the Roman Catholic Church. Recent photos of Opposition “leader” Leni Robredo and her running mate Kiko Pangilinan knelt in prayer in a church while cameras snap and roll exhibit further evidence of how small a regard for Filipinos’ rational faculties the two apply to their campaign.
