“Proof of work” that could be worth millions?
Are you a “digital creator”? Should you jump onto the NFT bandwagon? Non-fungible tokens are, we are told, units of “digital art” that you can create and enforce an ownership claim over using blockchain technology. People can still make copies of that original work the traditional way (i.e. download it, take a screenshot of it, etc.) but the blockchain provides a system that tells everyone that you own the “original” and that you can take that claim with you and enforce that claim anywhere on the Net.
